Evangelisation - Why? - How?

WHY?

It is Christ who asks of us : “go, and make disciples of all nations” Mt 28:19

Can we be Christian without evangelizing? If you say you have truly met Christ, how can you do anything but witness to Him?

There are 100,000 students in Toulouse who do not yet know Christ.

Because, according to Damien, evangelising is...the most beautiful gift that you can give to someone : you are offering them Jesus Christ Himself ;) !!

HOW?

You might say to yourself that evangelising isn’t really your thing. However, it is always possible according to your availability and your own charisms!

The Student Parish of Toulouse offers you different concrete ways to embark on the adventure that is evangelisation :

  • The Alpha Campus Program

  • Evangelisation evenings “from St Pierre to St Pierre”

  • Frats’ Mission

  • Prayer Chains

  • and plenty of other opportunities in your daily life ; it’s up to you to take advantage of them!

The Pope’s point of view

“Pope Francise addressed all of the cardinals who were elected to guide the Roman Catholic Church with a message of evangelization.

Francis called these religious leaders his brothers, and urged them to “find new ways to spread the love of God to the ends of the Earth”

Student Gardens

This year, we have a student veggie garden for you to cultivate! The objective is to give students and young professionals the opportunity to cultivate a plot of land together, and to harvest its fruits! The plot of land is situated at the heart of the family gardens (jardins familiaux), 50 rue de Bourrassol, at St Cyprien, 10 minutes from St Pierre.

We get together every Sunday from 16:00 to 18:00 for workshops, presenting the opportunity to learn to plant, weed, water, and take care of the garden.

If you’d like to come find a green and growing corner in the middle of Toulouse, get your hands dirty, or just eat some delicious fruits and vegetables, the garden is here for you!

Vocations

If you are asking yourself questions about a vocation to the priesthood.

If you have thought about consecrating your life to the Lord in religious life.

If you have already thought about becoming a priest.

If you’d like to discuss any of these questions…

What is a fraternity?

A fraternity is a community of Christian students from the Student Parish, who work in service of the Parish.

It is an organization run by and for the students, with the support of chaplains.

There are two fraternities in the Parish who commit to give one year to announce the Gospel
